This is exactly why I instruct you to start with luring with treats or use food as a reward not as a bribe because they already aren't doing it.
For example we started teaching "Cash" a 15wk Pom how to walk on the leash and he had never even had a leash on before today so he was extra stubborn so we started walking he dug his heels in and with a little encouragement after a few steps on his own he got a treat. Then after 3 or 4 more steps next to me he got another treat. If I had come back to him and bribed him with a treat after he had dug his heels in he would think "Cool the more stubborn I am the more treats I get, I will continue this behavior" Use food as a lure from the beginning, or as a reward never as a bribe.

Homemade Dog Food Recipe - Volhard
The Volhards have a homemade balanced recipe.
They are well known for making sure that IF you are going to feed your dog raw that you make sure that your dog gets a BALANCED meal. Raw does not mean just feeding raw meat... your dog needs so much more than just a slab of meat.

Gluten Free Pumpkin + Peanut butter dog treats
Dog Cookie
Recipe
Recently tried a new recipe
for homemade dog treats and they are simple and the dogs love them.
Some of your dogs tried
these at the Howliday Party. Credit to the recipe goes to this website. We put this in the newsletter but decided to post it here too.
They are wheat and gluten
free for all of the dogs with allergies. We recommend that they are
refrigerated after they are baked.
When I make them I triple my recipe then I have lots to use for a while.
Ingredients
2 cups White Rice Flour
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1 cup Pumpkin Puree
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2 cups White Rice Flour
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1 cup Pumpkin Puree
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. In a large bowl mix all ingredients one at a time, kneading well after each addition.
3. Knead dough into ball and roll onto a floured surface 1/4 inch thick. Cut with the cookie cutter of your choice.
4. Place on your prepared cookie sheet and bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool and refrigerate.
